These delicious fudgy brownies are so easy to make and surprisingly healthy!
My grocery store sells little containers of mashed avocado. I love using them instead of buying fresh avocados - it tastes just as good and saves me some prep time.
My grocery store sells little containers of mashed avocado. I love using them instead of buying fresh avocados - it tastes just as good and saves me some prep time.

Time: 30 minutes
1 avocado, peeled and pitted (about 4 oz)
2 large eggs
1/3 C brown sugar
1/4 C honey
3 Tbsp butter
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 C plus 2 Tbsp cocoa
1/2 C almond flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 C plus 2 Tbsp mini chocolate chips (divided)
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- Grease an 8x8 baking dish.
- Combine avocado, eggs, brown sugar, honey, butter, and vanilla in a food processor or blender. Process until smooth.
- Add coca, flour, baking soda, and salt to the avocado mixture. Blend until smooth.
- Add 1/4 C mini chocolate chips to the mixture and pulse a few times to mix in the chocolate chips.
- Spread the brownie batter in the prepared baking dish.
- Sprinkle remaining chocolate chips on top.
- Bake for 25 minutes.
